Grand Mesa is the largest, flat-topped mountain in the world, spanning 500 square miles and rising between 5,000 and 11,237 feet of elevation. The scenic drive begins at exit 49 off I-70 on CO-65 and travels east to Cedaredge. There is a 13-mile side-trip to the Land’s End Observatory which adds 40 minutes
to the drive.
