Camping in Bear Country Tips

FAQs

When do the leaves turn to gold?

The best time to view the leaves  depends a lot on the amount of moisture we got in the spring. The leaves turn based on the amount of sunlight that they are getting, but the water in the ground helps dictate the type of color we will see. Colors can be noticed mid-September to mid-October most years.
